Week 16
Applications – Epidemic spreading
For our final week, we will look at applications of CUS to public health and infectious disease prevention. We will begin with a crash course in epidemiology and infectious disease modeling. Then, we’ll discuss the role that the behavioral data can play in improving outbreak response. We’ll end by touching on the ethical use of behavioral data for countering outbreaks, as well as novel technology for producing behavioral analytics in the context of infectious disease response.
