The SUNLab were happy to welcome Dr. Abigail Horn to present on her work understanding food environments and the behavioral factors which foster healthy lifestyles. Abigail is a Research Computer Scientist at the Information Sciences Institute and incoming Research Assistant Professor in the Daniel J. Epstein Dept. of Industrial and Systems Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of Southern California.
We are excited to be collaborating with Abigail on a project aimed at better understanding the behavioral determinants of health and how we can use big mobility data to better understand individuals’ interactions with their food environment.
Abigail’s presentation was titled: Harnessing large-scale non-medical data to address public health problems in food systems and nutrition.
