Datasets

Here are some large-scale datasets published by companies, agencies, or researchers that might help with your CUS final project.

Mobility Data

• NYC Taxi Data, yellow and green taxi trips records in the city of New York.
• GeoLife GPS Trajectories (Microsoft Research), a GPS trajectory dataset collected in (2007 - 2012) by 182 users in a period of over 3 years.
• YJMob100K: City-scale and longitudinal dataset of anonymized human mobility trajectories.
• COVID19USFlows Multiscale Dynamic Human Mobility Flow Dataset in the U.S. during the COVID-19 Epidemic. Daily/Weekly flows between census tract/county/state levels in the U.S. from 2019 to 2021-04.

Social media data

• Gowalla and Brightkite datasets, social networks of users and check-ins in these two location-based social networks.
• Foursquare dataset, a dataset of check-ins in the Foursquare social network including geolocation and user information.

POIs, maps, geographical data

• Overture datasets, a collection of open-source maps and POI data for cities around the world.
• Foursquare Open Source Places dataset, a dataset of 100mm+ global places of interest. It includes 22 core attributes per POI.
