Week 10
Urban Network Models
This week, we will study models to describe interactions in urban areas and more broadly, how to construct network models that describe the activities of individuals in cities.
Prepare
đź“– Read some papers about network models in urban areas:
- Spatial Networks by Barthelemy [1]
- A review of the Structure of Street Networks by Barthelemy and Boeing
- The anatomy of urban social networks and its implications in the searchability problem Herrera-YagĂĽe et al. [2]
- A survey of results on mobile phone datasets analysis by Blondel et al. [3]
- Social connectedness in urban areas by Bailey et al. [4]
